Torre di Scopello

Torre di Scopello boasts a rich history marked by the passage of diverse dominations, and in ancient times, its territory was part of the emporium known as Cetaria.

The name ‘Scopello‘ derives from the Greek term ‘Scopelos‘ (‘rock’ or ‘cliff’), due to the imposing presence of the Faraglioni that still captivate visitors to this day.

Wonderful place, surrounded by nature, between the stacks of Scopello and a shining blue sea. The service is excellent, and the possibility of bathing with private access, in addition to the solariums (also private) is a unique privilege, surrounded by a breathtaking panorama, like the one that, in all of Sicily, can only be found in Scopello.

Place found by chance, truly enchanting, with breathtaking views. We arrived very early and had the opportunity to swim in the transparent sea and among the rocks of the stacks in complete solitude. Beautiful experience!! The environment is well cared for, the nature trail is steep but pleasant. For €10 you enter, use the parking lot and use the deckchairs available. At the entrance we found Giada, who provided us with precise and kind information as a person who is prepared but above all who “feels” her job, and inside further information and courtesy from the nice boy. A service of drinks and sandwiches is provided. An unforgettable journey.

Casamatta, the military post, is the highest point of the Gulf of Castellammare right in front of the Faraglioni!!! Crystal clear water!!
A splendid paradise on earth, an uncontaminated place rich in vegetation and history… Absolutely recommended!!!
Cost of the ticket not exaggerated also considering that the parking is free for visitors and along the entire route you will find deck chairs at your disposal included!
